- I am a board-certified adult gerontological nurse practitioner. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions. My professional interests include, partnering with people to help them utilize integrative and conventional medicine to optimize health and address upstream issues contributing to chronic diseases. More specifically, I am interested in utilizing principles of functional medicine in the management of diabetes, obesity, autoimmune diseases, gastrointestinal illness (including IBS and acid reflux), fatigue, depression/anxiety, PMS/hormone imbalance, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and other health conditions. Hometown: Saint Paul, MN Best part of my work with my patients: I enjoy listening to people’s unique stories, working together to identify the factors that are contributing to disease/imbalance in their lives, and supporting them through development of holistic, personalized care plans. Why I became a provider: I find joy in connecting with people and sharing my passion for a whole-person approach to health and well-being. Practice philosophy: I believe in the importance of building a therapeutic partnership to help individuals identify root causes of disease/imbalance in their life while supporting patients in their journey toward greater health and well-being. I believe health and well-being can be enhanced by utilizing food as medicine, learning stress management, and addressing the environmental, spiritual and relational factors contributing to our health.
